Kendra focuses her practice on business and transactional law matters including entity choice and formation, contract drafting and review, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and investments, corporate restructuring and reorganization strategy, due diligence for company purchases and sales, and general corporate compliance, reporting advice, and risk mitigation strategies. She also focuses on transactional labor and employment matters, including employment agreements, noncompetes and restrictive agreements, employee separation agreements, residential and commercial real estate sales, purchases and leases.
While earning her Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center, Kendra was a senior articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a student attorney in the Social Enterprise and Nonprofit Law clinic. She also served as a law clerk on the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary for Senator John Cornyn. Before joining Rapp & Krock, Kendra was an associate attorney in the Houston office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where she represented buyers and sellers in middle market and large private equity company mergers, acquisitions, stock issuances, and asset sales, with a concentration in transactions in the energy and software sectors.
