Paralegal - Business Litigation

Rapp & Krock, PC is seeking an experienced paralegal to provide comprehensive support to attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, managing discovery, and coordinating trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Key Functions:

  • Manage and maintain files from open to close
  • Communicate with clients, courts, agencies, other attorneys and ancillary parties
  • Prepare and e-file pleadings and records documents
  • Prepare files and attorneys for hearings and trial
  • Collect and organize documentation
 

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a paralegal in the area of Business Litigation; experience with Probate Litigation and/or Bankruptcy/Creditor’s Rights is a plus
  •  

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Centerbase, and NetDocuments, or capable of training to become proficient
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism and promote positive work habits, including effective and timely communication, teamwork, and respect for co-workers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to client and team interactions
  • Ability to think creatively, use good judgment and decision-making, and operate with accuracy and integrity
  • Works well under pressure with flexibility to change work priorities, workflow, and work assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize tasks effectively
